Safe pregnancy, birth, and postpartum require an ongoing, transparent partnership between you and your midwife. This is what I strive for in my work.

Safe pregnancy, birth, and postpartum require an ongoing, transparent partnership between you and your midwife. This is what I strive for in my work.
I have worked with mamas, babies and their families since 1997 as a birth and postpartum doula, a childbirth educator, a lactation counselor, and midwife assistant in the home and birth center setting. I am certified in CPR and neonatal resuscitation. I completed my midwifery apprenticeship in 2013 and passed the NARM (North American Registry of Midwives) board exams for my CPM (certified professional midwife) certification in August 2013. I am licensed by the state of Wisconsin since September of 2013 to practice midwifery. I especially love the postpartum period and truly love the families I serve.
Outside of my midwifery work I like to dance, go camping and read works of fiction and nonfiction.
